"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..."

...in our home.

I think we received 5 packages yesterday (including the BOB!) and it was like coming home to Christmas morning. Love it- and G's little room is loving it too!

Speaking of holidays- guess what I saw while perusing Targ-ay yesterday? Halloween decorations! You know, that day that is supposed to occur WEEKS after our baby's birth. Just another sign that our due date is rapidly approaching.

Seeing pumpkin decor and orange candles must have lit a fire under my a$s (haha...candles and fire...) because back at the office I immediately called to register for some pre-natal classes. I'm all signed up for Breastfeeding, Labor and Delivery, and Newborn Care/Infant CPR. D is invited (ahem, required) to attend them all. Hopefully he can actually make it, but with his Army schedule, you never know. I'm sure many of the other moms are in the same boat, but seriously, who schedules classes during the middle of the day and middle of the week? I guess obviously someone who assumes most army wives stay home all day...but that is another rant for another post.

This work week has flown by and after work this afternoon we will be taking off for a quick little weekend in Houston. One of my gf's has an apartment there, is out of town, and is graciously letting us crash for a couple days. We are really looking forward to eating some good food, relaxing, and checking out some different places. Before we head out I have my 32 week appointment. This is pretty much our last "low-key" doctor visit before things switch into high gear. All we really do today is take my stats (reallyyyy regretting all of that cake right now...), hear Miss Thang's heartbeat, and measure the belly to find out how big she is. I love doctor's visits because they are my little milestones that have gotten me from just finding out, to where we are now. I'll share the det's with you all later this afternoon.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday!

xo,
H

P.S. The pink dress from the shower and 31 week pic is from Isabella Oliver. http://www.isabellaoliver.com/ I'm not going to lie, it was way over priced for the jersey knit material, but I got it during an end of season sale for not too much! Sometimes you have to splurge. :)
