-I've watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and had a breakfast bottle with my girl
-Gone to the gym for an 8am spin class (more on this soon) that got canceled
-Ran a lap around the golf course rather than stay at the gym
-Grabbed a ginormo coffee on my way home
-Cleaned Gracie's room
-Made mommy/daddy dinner reservations for date night tonight
...and now I'm settling down to finish up my coffee and type this up while the little lady finishes her morning nap and D get his workout in.
I big puffy heart weekends around here. My favorites are always the ones like today where we don't really have solid plans, move at our own pace, and really soak in time together. After D gets home we'll get ourselves ready and head to Alexandria to do some weekend errands and grab lunch and then make our way back here to play with our girl and the pups before heading out on our first *real* date night in a LONG time. We have a babysitter coming over and everything. I'm super excited.
The plan is to get dinner at the Booker-Lewis House , a cute little bed and breakfast that has amazing food in a quaint, old house. You can even bring your own wine or go to the in-house pub. I'm looking forward to catching up with the hubs and enjoying some good food.

Wish us luck with our first date night! I'm trying to be very cool, calm, and collected about having a babysitter that we haven't previously met or isn't family. We got a good recommendation from friends, so we have that going for us. I just keep telling myself G will be asleep by 7:30pm and the girl will just have to watch TV and hang out till we get home. I'm sure I'll still call to check in...just once though, promise!
Have great weekends...be back soon with some work news and a possible shopping opportunity! :)
xo,
H

Yea date night! :) Hope it was a great one--what did you think of the movie? And how was dinner---that was one place we didn't get to check out but always heard great things about it! Enjoy Sunday :)
