Milestones

Last Friday we were having some family time in the living room when Grace got ahold of D's keys and up and walked over to the sliding glass door that goes out to the backyard. I was obviously excited that she was walking, but even more amazed to see what she did next...reached up with keys in hand to try and "unlock" the door.

She looked over to us, as if wanting a sign of approval. I was practically breaking out confetti and congratulations banners. It was awesome. Then she walked from the door, to me, and then back to the door. Over and over and was so stinkin' pleased with herself.

Clearly not my idea of appropriate home decor, so it hangs out on the back porch and we laugh about it...but yes, I realize it makes us look like rednecks. I swear we're not.
