I'm still here, I swear!
We got back late last night from our Virginia vacay/birthday festivities and it is right back to the usual stuff. Our house looks like someone ransacked it while we were gone (or mayyybe we were just a little messy prior to leaving) and there is hardly any food in the fridge, so we get to take care of that and getting back to work today. Fun stuff. (Boo.)
The past few days were such a blur of food, family, and friends. I keep catching myself thinking about party things that didn't get done or could have happened better and I really need to relax. It was a great few days with all of our favorite people and I am so glad we went all out for Grace's big day. It was a perfect excuse to catch up with everyone before the madness of the holiday season sets in.
Guess how many pictures of the party I took?
That would be ZERO thanks to the lovely Susan Solo and her ability to capture special moments so much better than I could ever hope to! Here are some preview pictures from her blog. I totally recommend getting someone else to take pictures if you have the opportunity...and also, I'm pretty sure this doesn't break D's "no pictures on the blog" rule since they aren't on mine...(muahaha ;)
I'll be back more regularly once we get settled into our daily routines. I have some posts in mind and also a plea for help from any mom's out there whose one year old's decided that temper tantrums were cool as soon as they hit their first birthday. Oh the joys of parenthood...
xo,
