We'reeee back!

As the title of the post suggests, we are back home in GA after a whirlwind visit to Virginia last week. I had planned on posting throughout our vacay, but relaxing and socializing with our friends and family was a full-time job, so the blog (as usual) got lonely! I did manage to keep up with all the blogs I read...God bless google reader and iPhones. I love being connected.

I feel so refreshed and ready to tackle 2012. I know it's cliche, but the start of a new year leaves me with such a sense of having a fresh start. I have big plans for the year..."resolutions", I guess you could say... :)

Here are a few...
  • Time Management and Relationships
    • Plan phone dates with friends...encourage visits!
    • Regular email updates to extended family to include pictures of Grace and what we are up to...because our families are huge and no one ever knows what we are doing with moves, etc.
    • Mail letters, Thank You's, Gifts on time...stay on top of things!
  • Health/Wellness
    • Run at least one half marathon...preferably 2
    • Continue to workout 5-6 days a week...mix it up and stay motivated...schedule in time and make it a priority
    • Explore new class options in the area
    • Meet some workout buddies
    • Meal plan 5+ days a week
    • Try yoga
  • Family Life
    • Go on at least one date a month (mommy and daddy only)
    • Plan at least one NEW family activity a month...get out and see the area!
    • Take Grace to the beach
    • Regular pool visits, start teaching her how to swim :)
    • Find balance between work and home...consider a schedule change
    • Keep our home consistantly organized and clean
    • Survive another move
    • Buy our first home
    • Make Baby #2 before the end of the year :)
I have pictures and stories to share from the past week, but I wanted to get the work week and year officially started by dropping in to say a quick hello and sharing some goals for the new year. Now that they are posted and public, I'm off to be productive and start making this year the best one yet!

xo,
H
