Milestones

We officially have a crawler. A forward moving, one hand in front of the other crawler. It's amazing what a little motivation can do for a baby. In Grace's case she was stranger-dangered out after hanging with her grandparents one morning during our weekend trip and speed crawled to me like she was being chased by a pack of hungry dogs. Whatever works, right?

She also decided that it's cool to eat solids since she has 6 teeth and went from gagging on puffs to eating them as fast as she can get them into her little mouth. Crazy how it's like a light bulb goes off with all the news things that G has been figuring out. One day she can't do something, the next it's like she's a seasoned pro.

We had a fab weekend in Texas with D's family and I, of course, have no pictures to show from it. Nada one. D's cousin took a bunch, so maybe I can steal a few after she posts them.

Things are sort of busy here this week. We have a Hail and Farewell (Army dinner where new officers and their families are welcomed in and old ones are said goodbye to) tonight. Then we're already at Thursday. We're trying to get a babysitter for a potential date night Friday, which hasn't been very promising so far and just get back on track after being away last weekend has taken up some time. Let me get re-organized and I'll be back with better updates and hopefully pictures too!
