Sneak Peek

We are creatures of habit in this house.

Every weekday morning, without fail, D's alarm goes off at exactly 5:30am and he gets ready for PT. The pup and I snuggle until exactly 6:15, when I am awoken by either my alarm or a wet little nose prodding my arm until I get up. I swear she can read the clock.

We get up, get breakfast, and as soon as she finishes her food (which takes literally no more than 2 minutes because she eats like that little asian guy in the July 4th hotdog competition) we head out the back door for "potty" time. Her that is, not me. :)

Being a creature of habit, I braced myself for the humidity that is always lingering around and seriously almost dropped my cheerios when I didn't feel it hit me this morning. Yes ladies (and gents?)...it felt like Fall! I would have cried happy tears if I wasn't so busy making sure nobody else was up watching me in my tank top and underwear. (It is HOT at night!)

I know the weather is going to get warm again...hell, probably by this afternoon, but it had me thinking about Fall and all of the things that get me excited for my favorite season of the year.

Obviously this year we will have a new addition to the family and in years to come, another Fall birthday to celebrate. Our pup's is October 12. Mine is November 2nd and D's is the 11th. Our anniversary is the 28th...

Umm, can we talk about Pumpkin Spice and then Gingerbread lattes from Starbs? Totally a Fall staple.

The clothes get cuter since I'm a fan of darker purples and navys and browns...and I have a feeling this year that whole "layered" look will be very appreciated around these parts. ;)

(Minus the skinny jeans that scare me too much to try on...)

Running gets a heck of a lot more fun. It's easier to breathe and it smells fantastic outside. This year I'll have my BOB jogging stroller for an added challenge!

I don't need to go any further, because I'm sure by now that Fall preview from this morning is long gone. I am so excited for the months to come...anyone else out there over Summer?!
xo,

H
