Family Rules

Hello, hello! Hope you all had a nice weekend. We did! Lots of family time, walks with both puppies and the jogging stroller down on the Riverwalk and dinner downtown on Saturday. I got my 7 miles in on Sunday in 60:05. Not too shabby! We finished taxes...and are getting nothing back. Womp, womp. We wrapped up the weekend with our usual grocery round up and dinner at home last night. Now, it's back to business for the week.

Speaking of family time, one of my girlfriends pinned something that caught my eye last week- a gorgeous Family Rules signs that you can customize with your own "rules". I think they are beautiful and homey and since, let's be real, I clearly am not about to try a DIY...I'm thinking about getting one made for us.

Before I take the plunge, we need to come up with our rules and what would make the sign apply to us. This part has been difficult! I love Be Kind, because I do try to keep that in mind and try to teach Grace to follow that example. I also like always be grateful, as well. I feel so lucky to have a warm home, a sweet little family, and all that goes along with it. Now I just need to come up with some others that apply to us. I really do love most of what is shown on the picture, but I want us to sit down as a family and agree on the rest. :) If we end up getting one made, I'll let you know!
