Writer's Block

You guys, I seriously got nothin' this week. I don't have any new, cute pics to share. I haven't tried any fun recipes. There haven't been any crazy workout breakthroughs. It's just been the same old stuff.

Work, gym, family, food, sleep.

I know, not necessarily a bad thing for us to have some slow weeks around here.

Things I have done:

-Found an amazing new pedi place. Best feature? They send you home with a mini sized polish of the color you choose in case you need to touch up. LOVE.

-Cleaned the house bottom floor and played with rearranging my living room. Always productive.

-Replaced our master bedroom duvet and sham (since we lost one and it was discontinued) with a new set found at TJ Maxx. D and I both actually like it better than the old one and it was a total deal.

-Decided on a few things for the guest room. Now I need to get my order on in the next couple of weeks before we have 3, yes count 'em, 3 weekends of visitors. Yesssssssssss.

-Got a severe case of rug burn on my booty from a WOD with too many sit-ups. WIN.

-Broke my no-spend February with 2 days left in the month because J.Crew is the devil.

-Taught Grace the word "boobies". (Ok, I did this a few weeks ago, but it is still just as funny)

Obviously it has been a productive few days, even with nothing truly exciting going on. Maybe I'm just a little burnt out on blogging? Either way, forgive me if I post sporadically for a little bit. I'm sure with everything coming up this month (visitors, hopefully getting our next assignment), I should be remotivated quickly. :)

xo,
H

  1. That is an awesome deal your pedicure place provides. A mini-polish? Yes, please.
Isn't it crazy that we don't worry about guest rooms until we have guests coming? I have to buy a full bed set and pillows because we have 2 sets coming in March. Good motivation.
Oh...those WOD raspberries right in your cheeks are horrible!

    1. It is good motivation. I need to just take the plunge and open a Pottery Barn credit card...or try not to. Ugh.

YES! I'm so glad someone else understands the raspberries! I have never had that happen before and didn't realize how bad it was until I took a shower after class. Ouch!
